First information boards installed
In the coming weeks, we will be installing no fewer than 81 information boards at our test locations throughout Flanders and the Netherlands to inform passers-by about test setups and our LIFE project.
Last week, we have installed the first out of 81 information boards about our LIFE-project. These boards will be installed at all test locations, both in Flanders and The Netherlands. There is an adapted design for the experiment in which we use nestboxes to attract tits as predators for the oak processionary caterpillar, and a design for the road verge experiment. In the latter the importance of species-rich natural verges for attracting parasitic wasps and parasitic flies is explained. The information boards also contain general information about the LIFE project and of course a link to the project website.
