Looking for territorial male tits
Male tits are inspecting our new LIFE nest boxes. The first results are promising!
Our field worker is currently looking for territorial male tits. The counts are preferably done in good weather within 6 hours after sunrise. Our field worker walks past a location for 8-10 minutes. This is repeated twice for each location. Counting is done for both the locations with tit nest boxes and the control locations without boxes. All test locations will be examined this week. The first results are very promising, with a lot of bird activity!
